Sick as a Dog!!!!!!!

but still got to rock it out No Excuses style!!

No excuses means no excuses so even though i didn’t want to get out of bed this morning i did and i made things happen!

If you want things to change you ave to get out there and make them change if you sit around and wait like 99% of people that’s just what you are going to be 99% of people!

Well i want to be that 1% and so do the people i train.

Are you ready to get out of the norm and break the cycle if so then you are in the right place!

I know my girl Melissa is ready she rocked out her first No Excuse workout tonight and crushed it like a champ!

It was a slope workout starting @ 10 on the way down 9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 of kettle bell swings, burpees, and medicine ball throws.

Now mind you she has never done any of these things before  i love to  see the fire in people’s eyes that are really ready to get strong and every time i am around it it just makes me thankful for what i get to do!

So here’s to you Melissa keep getting stronger and stay on your path to that 1%

Happy 29th Birthday ……..

to ME!!!!!!!!

Today is my 29th birthday strength fans and instead of getting any crazy gifts for myself i wanted to give all of you a gift!

Please email me any of your questions if it has to do with training, how i got started, life questions what ever you can think of i will answer it to the best of my knowledge and straight from the heart.

Ladies and gentleman i am so lucky to be alive, 

 2nd  so lucky that i am able to help others get strong and improve their lives

Dan McGwire is a sell out either way!

1st things first i am an only child but i know how close i keep my family and if i had a brother i would never sell him down the river like this to make a few bucks!

2nd I’m sick and tired of all this steroid crap!!!!!!

Either way Dan Cheated and used steroids and his brother probably did as well but i say stop putting it all over the media!

I’m sick and tired of it the media says how bad they are and i agree  but having it on the TV all day it is in turn promoting them…….BAD PUBLICITY IS BETTER THAN NO PUBLICITY marketing 101 folks!

So lets focus on the people out there who are doing the right thing and getting strong the old fashion way

through blood sweat and tears, by pushing their body and minds to the limit and by making sacrifices!!!!

Sorry for the rant strength fans but it pisses me off so here’s a video of me doing it the old school way moving weight

YES WE CAN!!!!!!!!

Hey strength fans today is an amazing day in our country’s history and i say to you YES YOU CAN!!!!!

Change is what we called for as a country and today we with the inauguration of our new president we will CHANGE as a whole nation!

I say to you take this new sense of change and hope to heart and believe in yourself that you can also change for the better and you can make it happen YOU WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN!

NO EXCUSES will be excepted if you want it EARN IT i believe this will be our new presidents motto and that it must be all of our motto’s if we as a people want to be all that we can be!

GOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!

Paddlers Rule!!!!!

Last night i had an amazing evening!

I spoke in front of 3 different dragon boat teams about my life and training style.

FIRST i love training and helping people with all my heart, but i HATE HATE HATE public speaking in front of large groups where i am the center of attention.

Well this was a group of almost 50 strong women and let me say i was a little nervous going into the evening.

Normally my hands shake, i stutter, and don’t have a complete train of thought, and no thinking of everyone in their underwear does not work for me either.

Let me tell you an amazing thing happened last night once i started I WAS NOT NERVIOUS!!!!!!!!!!

I think it had to do with two things

one this was the first time I had presented to a large group about my training, the thing that i am passionate about, the thing that drives me i was speaking from my heart and when you do that it just flows.

The second thing was that this group of women were truly awesome and inspiring!!!!

From the moment i walked into the room they made me feel @ home, and part of their family, which all you strength fans out their family is the most important thing!

All of these women and 2 very nice gentlemen had their own stories and backgrounds and ideas of what they are looking to get out of training with me and their dragon boat team and let me tell you that i am sooo proud and honored to be able to help them achieve those goals!!!!!

BIG THINGS HAPPEN WHEN YOU TAKE BIG STEPS!!!!!

IF WE WANT IT< WE HAVE TO EARN IT!!!!!

NO EXCUSES, NO EXCUSES, NO EXCUSES

We are Not Easily Broken!

My athletes here train and they train hard!

I push them to achieve more, to break records, to push themselves to their limits to reach their goals and their dreams!

To train here at The Real World Strength Coach you don’t have to be an elite athlete you just have to have will power and drive and the doors are open.

We will not except any tire kickers or slackers or those who don’t give 110% to reach their goals!

Those of you  who want more out of life its time to get strong in mind and body….REAL WORLD STRONG!

Her is our “Lumberjack” No excuses workout where we do 3 rounds for 1minute work of Log Press(which do to some poor camera work you will not see in this video), shrugs, and band squat thrusters where you score 1 point for each rep completed and the person with the most points after 3 rounds of 1 minute work of each wins.

We all win though because we just got an amazing workout while pushing ourselves past our breaking points!

Have a Ball!!!!!

Well that’s what i did and that what i always to i always have a ball when i workout its my love its my passion to move weight!

If you have a love of strength and moving weight then you are in the right place but if you like your big name gyms with all their fancy equipment this is not the place for you and i would kindly ask you to leave!

Sorry about that  so back to today’s workout which was a mean one.

I did band box squats, then pulled the bands and loaded heavy weight.

After I moved over to dead lifts for max effort.

To finish off the workout I did the No Excuses workout named “The Salesman” and let me tell you strength fans after a pretty brutal day of back and legs already this is one that will make you want to quit but you all no the motto NO EXCUSES baby lets EARN IT!!!!!

So that just what i did i fought through the pain i needed a rest a few seconds here and there but i got through it and when i was done i was tired i was sore but i was also proud of myself for doing just what i preach.

Take a look at “The Salesman” which is a slope 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1- of burpees, 50 lb kettlebell swings L/R , 80 lb high pulls, wall balls, step ups L/R, and elevated push ups

 

I finished in 25:45, so next time i do this one i will shot to shave atleast a minute off my time a i learned from my 2 mentors Zach Even Esh, and Joe D you always have to try and break records!

Inauguration

That’s right I’m inaugurating new athletes here @ The Real World Strength Coach and I am also busting out new NO EXCUSES workouts.

Some will  be long and grueling workouts and others like today’s will be short and intense but all will build work capacity and muscle endurance all while striping the body of that unwanted fat!

2009 is going to be a crazy year so if you are ready to ride grap on and hold tight and get ready to get the body and mind you have always wanted!

Warm Up for 2009

Hey strength fans i hope you had a great new years eve and day BUT NOW ITS TIME TO GET READY TO MAKE 2009 THE BEST YEAR OF YOUR LIFE!!!

I am going to do  all i  can to help you make this happen, so remember to check back often as there are going to be lots of big things happening here @ THE REAL WORLD STRENGTH COACH!

Today’s video i a look at one of our warm ups that we do before every workout.

Warming up is so important  and to many people to do not warm up at all the just jump right into the weights.

You need to get your body temp up, your blood flowing and your body loose if you really want to get the most out of your workout.

I hope that got you fired up for the new years i know it did for me i want to go move some weight RIGHT NOW!!!!!
