PULL HARD!!!!!!!

Well strength fans all i can say is the dragon boat regatta in NYC was awesome!!!!!!

2 of my girls Margo and Sue who both work out real world strength style 3 days a week each entered 3 different events!

Margo 3 events 3 GOLDS
SUE 3 events 3 GOLDS

What more can i say i was like a proud father i even caught myself getting a bit choked up(SHHHHHH DONT TELL ANYONE!)

As promised i decided to enter a few events myself i had to try it out for myself!

2 events for me 1 Gold 1 Silver hey not too bad, but let me tell you it was hard as heck and after i did it i was even more proud of my girls!!!!!!

I just want to let everyone know that with somehard work and dedication anything is possible!

ps- i entered a 3rd event but i broke the rower i pulled the puaddle right off NOW THATS REAL WORLD STRENGTH!!!!!!

Do you have Drive?

I find that there are so many people out there that want it all but are not willing to lay it all on the line to get it!

IF YOU WANT SOMETHING BAD ENOUGH THEN YOU HAVE TO EARN IT!

No matter what it is in life if you are driven by your end game(the result that you want) and are willing to push and i mean really push to get there then YOU WILL SUCCEED!

NO EXCUSES NO EXCUSES NO EXCUSES NO EXCUSES NO EXCUSES NO EXCUSES NO EXCUSES NO EXCUESES

It a simple concept in its self, IF i told you that no matter what if you never gave up and kept on trying and driving to you final destination no matter how long it took or how wrong turns you made or how many crashes you had or deers you hit etc etc that one day you would get to that destination(YOUR ULTIMATE GOAL) WOULD YOU TAKE THE DRIVE?

To me its a no brainer gas me up and lets go, and thats how i am living my life with a purpose and with drive are you?

Its cold and snowing here in philly but i said we ave not played with the goodies in a while so we were breaking them out anyway NO EXCUSES and we rocked another workout

We are Not Easily Broken!

My athletes here train and they train hard!

I push them to achieve more, to break records, to push themselves to their limits to reach their goals and their dreams!

To train here at The Real World Strength Coach you don’t have to be an elite athlete you just have to have will power and drive and the doors are open.

We will not except any tire kickers or slackers or those who don’t give 110% to reach their goals!

Those of you  who want more out of life its time to get strong in mind and body….REAL WORLD STRONG!

Her is our “Lumberjack” No excuses workout where we do 3 rounds for 1minute work of Log Press(which do to some poor camera work you will not see in this video), shrugs, and band squat thrusters where you score 1 point for each rep completed and the person with the most points after 3 rounds of 1 minute work of each wins.

We all win though because we just got an amazing workout while pushing ourselves past our breaking points!

Have a Ball!!!!!

Well that’s what i did and that what i always to i always have a ball when i workout its my love its my passion to move weight!

If you have a love of strength and moving weight then you are in the right place but if you like your big name gyms with all their fancy equipment this is not the place for you and i would kindly ask you to leave!

Sorry about that  so back to today’s workout which was a mean one.

I did band box squats, then pulled the bands and loaded heavy weight.

After I moved over to dead lifts for max effort.

To finish off the workout I did the No Excuses workout named “The Salesman” and let me tell you strength fans after a pretty brutal day of back and legs already this is one that will make you want to quit but you all no the motto NO EXCUSES baby lets EARN IT!!!!!

So that just what i did i fought through the pain i needed a rest a few seconds here and there but i got through it and when i was done i was tired i was sore but i was also proud of myself for doing just what i preach.

Take a look at “The Salesman” which is a slope 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1- of burpees, 50 lb kettlebell swings L/R , 80 lb high pulls, wall balls, step ups L/R, and elevated push ups

 

I finished in 25:45, so next time i do this one i will shot to shave atleast a minute off my time a i learned from my 2 mentors Zach Even Esh, and Joe D you always have to try and break records!

Inauguration

That’s right I’m inaugurating new athletes here @ The Real World Strength Coach and I am also busting out new NO EXCUSES workouts.

Some will  be long and grueling workouts and others like today’s will be short and intense but all will build work capacity and muscle endurance all while striping the body of that unwanted fat!

2009 is going to be a crazy year so if you are ready to ride grap on and hold tight and get ready to get the body and mind you have always wanted!

Getting Ready For 2009!!!!

by building work capacity!!!!!

Today’s work capacity building workout was 1 arm 50 lb kettlebell swings, overhead log press, and overhead sledgehammer swings for 3 rounds.

There is nothing more important to Real World Strength than work capacity!

You can get as strong and as big as you want but without work capacity it will never transfer over into your everyday life!

Especially if you are an athlete MMA, Football, baseball, rugby you name it work capacity will transfer over to the field and you will perform better.

So whether you are a housewife who needs more energy to handle the kids or an NFL football player who wants to be stronger than the guy in front of you in the fourth quarter YOU NEED WORK CAPACITY!!!!!

So in 2009 NO EXCUSES we are going to EARN our strength, speed, size, and endurance through WORK CAPACITY!
